The build

Built from an S2 900 Beast into an S1 800 Champ — calmer, sharper and made for repeatable pace under pressure.

Story

This build started as an S2 900 Beast and was first rebuilt into an S1 799 championship car. In S2 form, it was fast, aggressive and constantly fighting for traction. During development, it became a Diva: demanding, sensitive and unwilling to hide its weak points. Instead of masking them, we rebuilt the power delivery, gearing, braking, damping and drivetrain step by step. Every change was judged on track rather than by numbers alone. The championship car deliberately settled at S1 799. After the title, one final round of refinement turned it into the current S1 800 Champ: calmer, more repeatable and still full of character. Late braking, early throttle, clean recovery from curbs and difficult weather, and stable pace under pressure remain at the heart of the build. The Beast became a Diva. The Diva became a Champ. The tune remains private. The story does not.

The build

Built as a high-speed Shuto hunter, then refined into something calmer, sharper and far more deliberate — the TK002 Shuto Hound.

Story

The 1997 Nissan Stagea RS Four V began as an unlikely idea: a practical wagon rebuilt around the character of a night-running motorway hunter. Its R34-inspired front, widened body, RB26 twin-turbo power and all-wheel-drive system gave it the right presence, but the first version was difficult to trust. Fast direction changes made it nervous, the rear lacked stability at high speed, and hard acceleration could turn small corrections into sudden oversteer. Instead of reducing its character, the entire balance was rebuilt around it. Aero, suspension, damping, differential settings and gearing were developed together, with every change judged through repeated runs, telemetry and the way the car behaved on the road. The final S2 825 build keeps the aggression that defined it from the beginning, but now uses it with purpose. It settles earlier, carries speed with greater confidence and puts its power down without constantly fighting the driver. The result is not a tame car. It is a disciplined one. At night, the Shuto Hound belongs on the expressway: tunnels, city lights and long stretches of open road. When the night is over, it returns to its own quiet place behind SOKO 78. There it waits alone. Until it is time to hunt again.
