Season will be run with full sim damage enabled, so maybe that inside dive isn’t the play.
Will be working off of a modified Gr.4 Rulebook that will be posted later.
Incident definition & reporting
Any contact, blocking, divebomb, track-limit abuse, or series of on-track actions involving one or more drivers counts as an “Incident.” League admins (or a designated race director) can review it immediately or after the race. Drivers involved should stay available briefly after the race if notified, and can submit a short incident report via the league Discord/chat with time, location, and what happened.
Penalties for causing contact
Stewards (admins) can apply: time added to race result, drive-through equivalent (e.g. forced pit or slow-down), stop-and-go style hold, grid-position drop for the next race, or (in serious cases) disqualification from that race. Higher penalties apply if a stronger/higher-skilled driver is mainly at fault against a less experienced one. No automatic “you hit me so I win” — advantage gained and severity matter.
Behaviour Warning Points (BWP) system
Drivers can collect points for incidents or poor standards (e.g. 1 point for a formal warning or light contact fault, 1–2 for causing a collision depending on severity, 2 for a stop-and-go level offence). Hitting 3 points = 5-place grid drop next race; 4 points = 10-place drop; 5+ = drive-through style penalty next race. Points reset after the penalty is served. Clean rounds reduce points by 2 each time (no negative scores).
Unsporting behaviour off and on track
Provocative chat, threats, excessive aggression, intentional wrecking, or ignoring league instructions can be reported and penalised the same way as on-track incidents. The team/driver is responsible for their own actions (and anyone racing under their name). Clean paddock/chat etiquette is expected.
How penalties are applied & flexibility
Admins decide the level of penalty and can use lower ones if no real advantage was gained. Some penalties (time, drive-through, grid drops, reprimands, BWP) are final and not appealable in the casual setting. Penalties can be suspended or adjusted case-by-case, and anything not explicitly covered is decided by the league stewards for fairness.
